Hello everyone! I am so happy to be joining the board! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Linda Austin and I am a life long resident of Winthrop. I am 54 years old and I have two children. My son Jerry is a musician who you may see playing at the blackstrap BBQ. He plays with Nick Hames..go check them out! My daughter Julia is a medical assistant at Beth Israel in Boston. I am very proud of them both. I have my masters degree in Mental Health Counseling as well as a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I worked at North Suffolk Mental Health Association for 10 years in the CSA debt. I am excited to be part of the board!!!
